How to capitalise on pandemic educational technology gains for inclusion

09 October 2021 12:45 - 13:30

During the pandemic and subsequent lockdowns most schools adopted a remote learning platform of some sort. Many schools also increased their number of devices. These platforms and devices have the  potential to support a positive legacy despite the terrible times we have all been through. In this session, we will look at different ways in which schools can ensure they capitalise on the gains that have been made in using technology to support learning and inclusion.

Learning objectives:

  • Reflect on your school’s use of technology during the pandemic and the implications for the future
  • Identify different ways that technology can support inclusion
  • Understand how technology can support a Universal Design for Learning (UDL) approach in your lessons
Suitable for Key Stage 1 - 4
