Audiobooks: supporting education for children with a print disability

08 October 2021 13:00 - 13:30

Join this free-to-attend session to discuss and promote the use of audiobooks to support secondary-aged learners with a print disability.

Calibre Audio's aim is to enable these students to re-engage and have an interest in participating positively in the process of learning through their reading, to encourage their enjoyment of reading for education and for personal pleasure, and to reduce the feeling of social isolation from not being able to read or understand books in the same way that their friends do. Calibre Audio's ultimate aim is to raise their reading levels and educational achievements.

Suitable for Key Stage 3 - 4
