Alison will be talking about how we should celebrate and reframe people’s perceptions of how we see neurodiversity within society. Neurodiversity should be seen as a positive trait. Being different should not lead to exclusion as it so often is through a lack of understanding and training. We should celebrate neurodiversity, and it doesn’t need a label. It’s normal. It’s time to change the way schools perceive neurodiversity and start recognising their strengths, creativity and uniqueness.
